The next meeting is on Thursday 22 January 2009 at 6:30 PM at Voluntary Action, Barrhead (next to Snooks and Lidl). The meeting is free and open to all.
Michael Roy, Director of Critical Mass Consulting Ltd, will facilitate a small workshop on the draft Barrhead Town Centre Urban Design Framework, which is currently out for consultation. Just as our town was shaped in a large part by its industrial heritage, the current generation of Barrhead businesses have a considerable stake in the Better Barrhead development. Although he’ll present his own ideas and observations on the latest draft of the designs that the consultants and the council have put forward, he hopes to encourage a lively and informed debate in what is an unprecedented opportunity for businesses to contribute to shaping the future of our town. Views and comments expressed will be consolidated for presenting to the Council.
